Bernards Twp. park to get 240 new treesunder Eagle Scout project
BERNARDS TWP. – While some people build personal monuments, one local Eagle Scout candidate is providing a public forest. Peter Vogel of Summit Drive, a member of Boy Scout Troop 351 in Basking Ridge, has taken on the task of planting 240 trees at a 3.2-acre, municipally owned property between Haas Road and the Passaic River.
