Local Girl Scout earns highest honor
The Girl Scout code encourages members to improve themselves and to help others. On May 8 at the Philadelphia Marriott in Conshohocken, Victoria Messerschmidt, who resides with her mother in Berwyn and her father in Bryn Mawr, was presented with the Girl Scouts’ highest honor, the Gold Award, for going beyond even that standard of excellence.
