The Rotary Club of Broomall is looking for volunteers to make a great family day for families in the area during the Broomall Junior Olympics. The games consist of three events, the standing long jump, 50 yard dash and the ball throw. Girls and boys compete separately in age categories for 3 – 10-years-old.

Local Boy Scouts mark 100th anniversary at the State Capital
courtesy of Frances Crutchfield Feb. 8 marked the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. With the assistance of some local Boy Scouts, Gov. McDonnell and the Virginia General Assembly received a special delegation of 25 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts & Venture Scouts in honor of the anniversary.
