Scouts Hold Fiesta Fun Day Sept. 18
The Lewis & Clark Trails District of the Boy Scouts of America will be holding Fiesta Fun Day at the Lewis & Clark Scout Camp this Saturday, Sept. 18, running from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the Lewis & Clark Scout Camp located 10 miles west of Yankton, just south of Highway 50. The event is open to anyone interested in scouting.

Boy Scouts of America Troop 305 is completing an Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project with Operation Sandbox by collecting items for care packages to be sent to military men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan .

But when the church’s financial situation changed last month, the group was asked to find a new place to meet, said Mike Katona, leader of the two-year-old troop.
