Scout troop searching for new quarters
A local Boy Scout troop is looking for a new home. Up until July, the youths in Scout Troop No. 1168 met weekly at The Landing Church of God, at 1640 Hwy. 42 N. in McDonough. But when the church’s financial situation changed last month, the group was asked to find a new place to meet, said Mike Katona, leader of the two-year-old troop.

Scout’s Eagle project comes to fruition with orchard
