Coloring Pages For Girls

12:04 pm in Girl Scouts by

When my daughters friends come over I always know its just a matter of time before the requests to work on coloring pages starts!

This is only good news as it is such a quiet and calming hobby that can really help their development. Concentration span and hand eye co-ordination in particular.

So I make sure I always have a good supply of pages on standby. By now I have had plenty of practice in learning what the girls like to work on so can confidentally choose pictures ahead of time. Be prepared as the Scouts used to say!

Hello Kitty is always popular. Not only is she a cat but she is very cute so I guess thats two important criteria for little girls accomplished! It’s incredible how popular this cat is when she has no mouth, it’s crazy to see her everywhere on merchandise.

Tinkerbell is also very popular. I think it’s because every little girl wants to be a fairy. It seems like a sweet gig after all, flying around, getting up to mischief and dropping pixie dust everywhere!

Dora the Explorer is a bit of a legend with girls these days. She is a more realistic and positive down to earth role model so I am always happy to see the kids working on her.

Winnie the Pooh and his buddies will always be in demand. Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore are adored by girls of all ages. Seriously, a sprinkling of Pooh sheets in the pile will always be welcomed by the girls.

Other than that I can recommend Disney sheets in general (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald etc), anything with Princesses on and of course the iconic and enduring female icon Barbie!

For a wide selection of high quality free coloring pages such as Hello Kitty Coloring Pages, Dora, Winnie the Pooh, Disney, Princesses, Tinkerbell and more we recommend Free Coloring Pages as you will be sure to find plenty of sheets to work on there.
