Cub Scouts celebrate BSA milestones

Loose on the lanes in Roxbury
Cub Scout Pack 188 of Roxbury Township visited Rockaway Lanes to participate in the annual Black River District Super Bowl Bowl-a-thon. This year’s bowl-a-thon was an all day event at Rockaway Lanes and many Scouts from different packs in the Patriots’ Path Council were on hand to bowl before the Super Bowl game.

Four-day school week next year?
Norwood Cub Scout Troop #469, with pack leader Ken Lawrence, toured the Norwood Fire Station and cruised town last week with Norwood volunteer firefighter Joey Truelock. On Feb. 7 the Boy Scouts of America celebrated 100 years.

On Sunday, February 7 Boy Scout Troop 2 and Cub Scout Pack 2 celebrated Scout Sunday at Immaculate Conception Church in East Weymouth. The mass marked both the observance of the 100 th anniversary of Boy Scouting in the USA, and the presentation of Cub Scout religious emblems to members of the Cub Scouts.
