Lillian Frances Walsh, 55, born on Aug. 29, 1954 in Big Spring, Texas to Arnulifo M. and Toribia P. Flores, passed away on July 21, 2010. Lillian was a resident of Beaumont for the past 40 years. She was a preschool teacher for Re-Nu Hope Foundation for 10 years.

SATURDAY, June 26 The Roxbury High School Competition Cheerleading squad will host its third annual fundraising garage sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Eisenhower Middle School, 47 Eyland Ave., Succasunna. A wide variety of goods will be offered. For $5, fill a bag of clothing, books, etc. This is a fundraiser for the team. The event is held rain or shine.

SHOHOLA Area Boy Scouts from Shohola Troop 76 recently completed requirements towards earning the Climbing Merit Badge. This activity was held at High Point State Park, N.J., and was paired with a spring camp out.

SPARTA Gregory Evans Urbanski was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout at an Eagle Court of Honor held recently at the First Presbyterian Church. Gregory is an active member of Boy Scout Troop 82 of Sparta which is chartered by the First Presbyterian Church.
